I got out for a quick second hunt this evening at a school I have'nt checked in awhile and found some clad and doodads. Along with an on edge 45 wheatie. I remember doing this school about 5 yrs ago with my old digging buddy and at that time we both found over $20 in clad each and 4 rings total on that single hunt. I was there about a hour and 15 minutes. Gotta love finding more quarters than pennies. Out of the 49 coins 24 were quarters. $7.29 total. More for the clad can. 90% of the stuff was retrieved with a probe. (dull screwdriver :))

Great haul for a short hunt! It's great when the quarters are the majority of targets.

Mike,

I see you found a Mary on the mount. The date 1834? Two hearts on the back. If so, the original made in 1864 was bad of bronze. Yours is of a new design, I found on at the beach and was told it was a fairly old one. But good job on your finds...
Actually mine says 1830. It's not old, but I'll take it to add to the religious medals.

Nice quick hunt.
I cash in my clad can yesterday.
$248. I was going to use it to pick up a Ace 250,
But my old whites 6000 is working better that it
has the whole time I've owned it. So I'll hold
onto the cash for now.

Your pcv per coin average of 14.8 cents speaks for itself!....Great day... :)

Nice finds, I like the pendant.. ;D ;D
