Hello everyone, today was a great day for detecting! It was hot but very worth it. My brother and I headed to Tacoma and spent a little over 3 hours working some sidewalk strips. We managed to find 9 wheats there which are 1940-s x2, 1952-D x2, 1942-s, 1944-s x2, 1947-s, and 1917-s. We also found some other goodies there including a tax token, a cool crushed penny which says "Old Ironsides Launched 1797" and a picture of the ship. Also among the strips my brother pulled this little .925 ring which was our silver for the day. After this we met up with our friend and hit some spots where there used to be an old house. Here is where the toy cap gun was found and it is a Hubley Trooper. I believe it is from the 1930's but I may be wrong. The gun freaked me out at first though because I wasn't sure if it was real haha. My brother also found this cool old lock that says royal on it. I don't know much about locks but maybe one of you do. The horseshoe also came from this area. I was also wondering if anyone knows what those 3 decorative pieces are. They were all found within a couple feet of eachother near a site where there used to be a large old house. I'm not sure what they go to but they are certainly interesting. Anyways that was our day and thanks for checking out our finds. Happy hunting everyone!
