Well figured I would try my new hunting site one more time, but nothing that old. Not sure what all these artifacts are. The button or religious medallion has a date of 1791 on it, but I don't think its that old. Seems like its plated. Found another badge, but not sure if its a kids item or the real "chicken inspector" deal. :dontknow: May have to put some of these items on what is it. Thanks for looking.

I am so love love lovin' these badges you are discovering at your site! Maybe a bit worn, maybe not worth much but . . . I love 'em! :hello2:
I think you have found an interesting site with finds that hold quite a bit of a charater . . . hope you give it a go a few more times there

I recall also reading something to the effect that "Chicken Inspector" was a playful term for a gentleman who enjoyed keeping his eyes on the ladies :o

:D

Looks like a great site

Bet you could sell the chicken badge to Emeril, btw, don't you think someone named Frank would know something about chickens?

Thanks all. Didn't think the badges would get that much attention. :dontknow:
