Hey everyone,

Back again with another post. Not a monster one this time. Got a chance last weekend to go back to the first site I found a few weeks ago. Pulled a few more keepers out of that place. Got a 51 washington and a 52 rosie. Once again not the kind of silver I am looking for. But I can't complain because none of my partners are getting any silver.

That site needs to die out before I can hit it again. Found a pocket spill of eagle buttons at the site. Are they ww1 or ww2. They all were in the same hole basically. Got a cool last frontier hotel type fob from the site to. It's from Las vegas Nevada. I'm sure it's not very old.

That was Saturdays Haul. However a few weeks back I was out with a MD buddy and on our way out of a different site I spotted what looked like a rock lined wall in the woods. I've been back here numerous times and didn't spot it then. My buddy has a jeep though and it sits up high. I spotted it a few weeks ago and made a mental note of the place.

Well sunday me and my brother went to investigate it. As soon as we walked onto the site hits started coming up. It was a very small site. May have even been hunted before. It's right off the rd. The vines on the ground made it very hard to swing right now. I broke another extension rod for the dfx. I go through these rods like they are nothing.

The 1400 coil and all the woods hunting I do really beats up on them. Luckily I had some electrical tape and continued to hunt. Picked up a few keepers. A 46 rosie and a 27 buff. Got a nice fob though for the keystone lumber co. My brother pulled out some relics also. But no coins to speak of for him. Pulled the usual wheats 9 of them. Also got a no date clipped indianhead penny. Looks like someone took the right side of the coin off.

Got a weird little metal bottle with a cob web and a spider in it. It has a glass cork stopper. Any ideas what it may have been. Also got 3 nail type copper spike looking things right near the foundation. Looks like they would have held logs together. Site doesn't show on the map of 1876. I'm gonna guess it's after that.

Most of the older sites I find have very little if any remnants. The newer one's have stone foundations for the most part. The cabin sites are what I am after. But they are much harder to pinpoint. But they are out there and I will find them over time.

Thanks again for the support and looking at my post everyone.

Thanks alot guys,

I got so many what's it's in the basement it is just rediculous. I've been pulling items and tumbling stuff like crazy. Now I need thousands of dollars in cases to hold all this stuff. One day when the kids move out I'm gonna make a huge display room full of treasure.

Glad I got into this at a younge age. I'm in a great area to find treasure. I'll be back soon with more to share.

Thanks Allen,

Yes my knees have been taking a beating. To much walking then digging almost every signal my unit comes across. I dig everything. Have made some great finds doing so. Gonna take a cellar hole break this weekend. Go investigate a few parks here till all this dies out.

Hey Jer.. What are you using this week for detecting? It's been snowing and cold weather here in Minnesota.. I guess My season is winding down.

WTG!!
Happy Hunting

Nice haul again, Jer. Can't complain about silver coins, even if they are "new".

Yeah, digging all signals can be quite a workout. Once you get a display room going, I bet it would be amazing... you'll have to post pics :-D

Cool finds, I like the pics, they show everything and just gives a story of the Site . I really like the flask, I am thinking the round disc with numbers might be older style Cow tags, but I may be wrong. I have some similar but shaped alittle different.

As usual = excellent finds Jer,

Thanks alot guys

Yes it is a chrysler emblem. Any one know what car it came off of or how old. The little flask was a cool relic. I'm pretty sure those tags are for miners. I used to think they were cow tags myself. I have literally found hundreds of these tags. They are a good sign your on a old home site.
