2nd gold ring of the year

We have no shore line to hunt so the gold is few & far between. I told the wife this morning I was going out to find a gold ring, so I hit the local park. I started out picking up some change then hit the tot lot. Not much to be found but under a swing I got a 35 vdi on the mxt, kicked away the wood chips to uncover a large mans 14K ring. I hunted for about 2 hours & came home with the ring, a toe ring, & $4.05 in change.

very interesting....I wonder how many 35's I have ignored thinking bottle caps/aluminum? Time to rethink.

This is the first 35 vdi I have found, the ring was size 11 1/4" wide. Most of the mens gold bands I find hit on 20 but I have found smaller rings at a vid of 8, 32, & 42 the soil here runs high 60's to high 70's.
