Im still getting used to water hunting with my DetectorPro Pulse, and I found another Gold ring today on Hollywood Beach, FL., working the minus tides, and a waterproof watch that still works. It is behind by one hour, so the person must have lost it before the time change, when the strap broke. Too bad. I just noticed its a day ahead.
The wedding ring is 14K. It only has initials and a date, so I doubt I could find the owner. It was not a good signal and I usually would not dig it. Sounded like a false signal. My DetectorPro beeps at the slightest twitch. I hate it, but something told me this could be a real target. I had to put the scoop aside and dig with my feet underwater, it was pretty deep. I dont know why I decided to dig this iffy signal, but glad I did. I am more convinced now than ever, that it is of the utmost importance to learn your metal detector. Now I know what deep gold underwater sounds like on my DetectorPro. The watch was underwater but on top of the sand.
