Spent another 5 hours on the wheat stubble of our 2nd Fav Field.

3 17th Century Buttons
2 Rose Farthings
17th C Token
Jetton
8 Scrappies
Pan Weight
Nice Medieval Square Coin weight
Later Georgian? Coin Weight
Shortcross hammered of Henry III - fell to Dad today, I had the two Shillings :icon_thumright:
2 Shillings of William III, 1 dated 1696, the other too worn. We find less of these than Roman Silver! (the Sixpences turn up quite often)

Bank holiday tomorrow, so we will finish this area of the field :)

I know, I guess they had shortages of good silver & were very careful with it. :dontknow: Also I have never heard of a cache or hoard of them, have you?

I would be sick for weeks, if I lost that hammered, am I helping :-\

Nice hunt and finds, looks like you are on a weight role! I saw you found a bowl weight, they were made like that so they could stack them. I don't think I have ever found a pan weight here in Germany. HH, Mike

Well maybe you will soon. As thats what I said about your Bowl weights :wink:

Just finish off this section of the field. Not expecting much as its the area we have most heavily done.
