Wait a couple of months...you can get away from all that snow :laughing7:

SS.

Yes, a plane ticket can solve that, but how do I get away from you on this forum? :D

Crusader...me thinks you;ve been spoiled by all your AWESOME finds and that your definition of nothing really special differs immensely from that of the rest of us...
Very nice finds and hopefully your knack of finding that something "REALLY special" will come thru for you once again soon in that very field!!

Your very correct, its only a few years ago that I would have thought of this as a great day. The problem is that I HAVE been spoiled by my/Dads finds. Nowadays if I don't get a hammered I feel cheated (even though it took me years to get just 1).
However, you must have seen me say that 1 button can change the day (remembering that in the UK buttons are valueless). This is still true, if I come away with a new type for the collection its been a worthwhile hunt.

This day I did get a number of items I haven't got. A day with a few 'firsts' has to be good. That's what drives me to continue even after getting most of my previous wishlist. Because as you know money has no motivation for this Crusader

Happy Hunting :icon_thumright:

Nice digs again CRU. I have found a button here in the states like one of yours. Do you know anything about it? Civvy? mike

Mine has no backmark so hard to pin down a date. But definately Civvy, 1820s :dontknow:

Can't imagine what's on your wish list ! Most times when I open your post I have to wear a bib. ;D

Like I did with Playboy magazine, I decided to stop reading your posts, and only just drool over your pictures from now on.

That's just how it goes. What would have had me over the moon several years back a lot of times these days is just a sign there might be something good. My first 5 years I was very addicted and finding anything as simple as one early military button put me on a high for the rest of the day. Cru's sites and finds are totally different because as I say it's kinda the same for me, plus I think of it from his point of view.

Lots of intresting finds as always :icon_thumleft:!
