2nd day ever metal detecting with etrac. You probably have seen hundreds of these but I felt like I won the lottery! So what is this? Thanks!!

What you have there is from the 744th AC and W Squadron which were stationed at Murphy Dome Air Force Station during the 1960's in Alaska.This was a Radar Surveillance Station . The ACW stands for Aircraft, Control and Warning.The open mess was basically a social club at the Air Base and this token was for a NCO or Non Commissioned Officer. A lot of neat history there, nice find.

You should see it there in the center of my post I made. I have referenced two different links to the air base, and one is named "Radar Museum Guestbook". If you point your mouse curser on it and left click on it, it will open for you. Not sure you knew how that works... but that is it there.
