250 with DD coil

Looking for some input. Recently picked up the 8.5x11 DD coil for my 250 but only had it out one time. Seems to be more sensitive and definitely covers more ground. Anyone have this combo that can offer some tips/advice. This is my first DD coil. Thx in advance. HH.
