I only managed to pick up 1 box today, as I had a long discussion with the branch manager while I was dumping, and we started talking about coins/bills. He had come over to let me know their branch is small, and that they only have 2 pickups from brinks per week, and to not bring that type of volume into his branch (and forwarded me to other banks in the area). He did accept my $1k in dimes, and $500 in quarters though.

The one box I picked up yielded a 1959 Rosie.

Side note: I also had a nice chat with a very friendly (and beautiful) bank teller while I was waiting for my box out of the vault. She mentioned finding "a 1961 quarter worth about $7", and I decided to tell her what halfs and dimes were worth because I liked her. Even after the box came out, we were still chatting for a while. She slid me her card as I was leaving, and I was so tempted to ask her to have a drink with me sometime. She has mentioned having kids, so I wasn't about to make a fool of myself if she was married and just really nice to customers. Has anyone else ever met a teller they wanted to ask out?

Bank tellers are like strippers, both are hired for their looks :tongue3: Seriously, though, does the card have her cell on there? If not, what did she say when she gave you the business card? Does the name on the card hers?

Might as well take her out now, and get somthing....

Because you're not going to get ANY silver now that she knows.

I guess as a CRH, you have to ask yourself whats more important...P or S?

I took out a good lookin' teller about 14 years ago. Now she's my wife and all of her silver is in "my" safe. Sometimes I wonder if it was worth it though. ;D

I guess it is possible to have both S and P :notworthy:

Bahahah; are those mintmarks your referring to? What about the (D)enver mintmark? Cuz there are also lady CRH'ers here. From what I heard they just prefer coins from Denver. :laughing7:

It's crazy, like I've just looked into a mirror...but what's her's is her's, and what's mine is her's :tongue3:

The name on the card is hers, no cell. She didn't say anything when she gave it to me. I went to walk away from her window, and she said hold on a minute, and just slid me her card and smiled. I just asked how to pronounce her name, and told her it was nice meeting her. Looking back I didn't tell her my name *facepalm*. That's pretty cool to hear someone met their wife that way, I've been meeting a LOT of attractive tellers who are just nice, but this one seemed different. I know when someones being flirty by their body language, and she was being a tiny bit flirty. Doesn't mean she isn't taken though. I'll probably just keep stopping by each week and feel it out. If she is interested, she'll be less subtle. Otherwise, i'll just have a nice teller who will sell me boxes no questions asked. :)

I'm not worried about the silver, she can have all the silver in her tray. She won't be pulling it out of my sealed box. I always get sealed boxes for this reason, a teller could grab the one roll with silver out, and swap it for a full clad roll. That's CRH 101.

For the ladies: I guess as a CRH you have to ask yourself what's more important...S or D

Good call Scott :tongue3:

I would try to take her out next time, worst case scenario she says no and your in the same situation anyway.

Exactly Gilmore ;) I swear you have the most clever jokes,

A few months back, I started a thread about flirting with/hitting on tellers. I have seen some tellers I wanted to ask out, it's just part of going into 100+ banks. What's really important though is what is or isn't on the teller's left hand, 4th finger.

Pretty sure that would be the third finger, haven't seen anyone married that wore their ring on their pinky...... :laughing7:

And before anybody gets started with their category errors, the thumb is a finger. And tomatoes are vegetables by virtue of the fact they are a fruit and that all fruits are vegetables.

LOL.

[mod] Sorry guys had to do a bit of clean up because of a couple of reported posts about the "non family friendly" content being posted on this thread. [/mod]
