is a solid silver button ....I not understand of buttons. considering that most findings in this area are of the 15th, 16th and 17 th Century. :dontknow: is very difficult to ascertain ... I would say the 16th century .
greetings to all ! :hello:

It sure is a great looking button! :o

Greetings,

The silver buttons previous the 18th century are solid and geometric decoration, the back is straight and hitch is thick.

In the later 18th century and change shape , the hooks are thinner.

so we're talking about button a before the 18th century.

Nice hunt, man! How do you clean your stuff to make it look so spiffy every time?

depends on finding .... if it is of little value simply plastic water and brush.
