I do a good bit of field hammer work and the strongest head on a long handle
I use is 12 lbs.

I like a 8 and 12 for raw breaking off a solid run . I can't see the need for something
in the 20 or more range ....... just makes for less control and a longer day .

Of course that's just my way . I know you can get at least a 16 at Home Depot
with a good handle .
Your gona have to search a little harder to get something over 20 most likely .
Gona need a damn sturdy handle on one like that too .
