232nd Anniversary Commemoration of the Battle of Monmouth

FREE, donation requested
Come to Monmouth Battlefield June 19 and 20, 2010 and help commemorate the 232nd anniversary of the Battle of Monmouth. More than 500 re-enactors will be encamped at the Battlefield to drill, demonstrate, and recreate Revolutionary War battle tactics. Watch meals prepared over wood fires, see officers training infantry, cavalry, and artillery, and smell the gun smoke as British and Continental armies do battle.

If you go make sure you check out the museum at the visitor center. Lots of relics found on the Battlefield with metal detectors.
