Took a trip to the beach today to try and beat the 100 degree heat. Decided that since it was an afternoon low tide I'd stick to the water. Spent four hours in the surf from knee deep to neck deep. Found a nice golden ticket about an hour and a half after I arrived, in waist deep water. Turned out to be this nice 22k ring. It weighs in at 5.47g. Put a smile on my face today! Nothing like seeing gold in the scoop! :hello2:

Happy Hunting!

22K is rare.....Excellent dig! :icon_thumleft:

Thanks! It's the 2nd 22k ring I've found at VA beach and nearly in the same spot as the 1st one. I'll be back.

Holy $#!+ Nate! And I'm stuck here in Hazleton PA.. No Beach to be found! Lost the first two games and and we're out, we'll be home tomorrow afternoon. That's a nice piece you got there. I can't wait to get back and see what else we can find. Oh yeah I researched the class ring that I found last weak and contacted the Principal of the school. He's supposed to get me some info on the kid but I haven't heard back from him.

Wow...you dont see many 22k.

Congratulations on the gold, that is a unique/nice looking ring! 22k makes it even better!

Very nice ring, Congratulation.
