Hey all,

I found this item when I was relic hunting. I thought it my be a cannon ball but after digging it up have no clue. it is a 21lb, magnetic hunk of iron or some other metal. the highest point is about 4 inches and the longest point is about 6 inches. Anyone ever see something like this?

Update: Ground into it a little and it seems to be solid metal. At least the part I hit. Lead?
See new photo.... :P

Is anyone thinking what I am thinking---possible meteorite?? If it is, it's a big one!

Nice chuck-o-iron (or whatever...), but really I kinda like the scale better! :)

I got that scale at a yard sale for about 3 bucks. A true treasure!

Hi all,

Just another update. I had a Nickle test done on the object and it came up positive. Meaning it now fits most all meteorite characteristics. I will keep you posted on the progress. May have a sample sent out for final evaluation.
