I called the bank just now and asked if they had any halves, they had $16.50 I asked them to hold them.

I ran over and got them. Only 1 40% 1968 but it is a start!

I ran over and got them. Only 1 40% 1968 but it is a start!

Dropped in to my bank couple of months ago, asked if they had halves. They said $450 worth. I bought 3 rolls, brought them home and hit 4 40% so I went back and got the rest. Ended up with 2 full rolls of 40% and 9 90% including a franklin so that was a good run. Rolled up the rest and deposited them at my credit union. Talked to the bank lady later and she said "grandpa died and he always put back his half dollars, his grandkids inherited them so they rolled them and took them to the bank and never looked through them. Win for me.
