I got out to the beach today for the 1st time this year I’m trying to beat the ice, usually the beach is frozen and iced in this time of year at this spot, so here’s todays finds.

A little snow but the air temp was 33°

I was getting a solid 6 in park 1, this is fresh water. And pulled this little 10k ring.

Then I got a 14k hoop earring

I thought I was going to pull a crown cap on this .925 toe ring

Can’t hit the beach without some bling.
The ring below is gold plated, the inside band says "BGE" Bradford Gold Exhcange 925. The word "Always" is inside the band also. I looked it up and found this same ring.

Then last find an iPhone I got it drying out now.

Woohoo! Awesome finds, congrats!

Some nice finds. That's a fairly new iPhone. Hope it still works.

Wow! Some nice pieces of bling there. Great finds. I’m cold just looking at your pictures. You are a diehard. 👍

Thanks you. It wasn’t to bad, long John’s, 2 pair of gloves with hand warmers inside the 2nd pair, insulated rubber boots wool socks. 😂 I’m going to keep going until the sand freezes up.

It looks like you had the beach all to yourself.
Congrats on the recoveries.
Thanks you. And yes I was the only person on the beach, I spend a lot of time here in the warm months. It’s weird I was looking around yesterday and even though nobody was around I could picture people in the hot spots they hangout in. 😆

Thank you. Yeah I hope it works too would be cool to try and find the owner. I have found other phones here before and they were all flooded behind the glass and I had no luck getting them to work. Here’s hoping on this one. Fingers 🤞🏻

Sometimes if there's a tiny bit of moisture left in the phone/electronic device and it's powered up, it will fry.
Best of luck
The memory cards seem to survive though, if they have a card in them maybe it can be retrieved and read.

You were rewarded well for braving the conditions, congrats!
I bury the phones in a bowl of rice for a week before trying to power them up and had many happy returns doing so. :icon_thumright:

Nice finds with gold under the snow and on the beach! Good job!
I was hunting the wet line, the night before we had hard East winds that moved a lot of sand and pushed the aluminum pieces far up and yesterday a good West wind to blow the water out. So the conditions were perfect yesterday.
