More than 50 separate hunts, more than 200 hours. The totals are down a bit from last year, about 25% on Silvers, and coppers, but I managed about the same number of keepers, so all in all it was a good year.
I got some nice firsts, and crossed 3 off the 2012 top ten list.
The lot of it, or most of it.
The buttons, 88 in total.
The Silver 23 in total
The Copper 47 in total
The best which also happen to be the firsts. First Silver Half, first Spanish Silver, first Blow Hole button (1700's), first one piece Navy Button (1700's), First cap badge (WW1), 6 pence not a first, but nice condition, 1816.
Not shown are the canada LG cents, 4 ih cents, about 20 pounds of copper /brass buckles, and the bullets, etc.
Let's hope the snow doesn't last and the diggin can resume ASAP.
Good Luck out there.
