Greetings all T-net friends!
For me, the diggin-season of ´11 has ended. Now i must be patient and wait for next spring until i can fire up my detector again! Can´t wait already!
2011 has been a great treasurehunting year, and my first full year. 2010 i had only 3 months to hunt before the snow!
Almost all of my hunts have been together with my friend The Swed Hunter! I´ve had a great time! Some of the hunts has also been filmed, wich is really fun to watch in retrospect! One hunt that especially comes to mind was the trip to Norway we did this autumn. We went to search for remnants of the 1814 Swedish-Norweigan war, and we did find both army issue musket balls, old copper etc. A great trip that will be done again!
But now, the 2011 total!
Pic1: My oldest coins, the one on the right was found in Norway!
Pic2: 1 Krona silver coins, the 1875 is my best silver this year!
Pic3: Back on 1 Krona 1875 and 1932
Pic4: Öre silver coins
Pic5: Copper coins
Pic6: Copper coins
Pic7: Some of the relics found this year! Part of pocket watch (early 1900s), country store leadweight, Swedish 1814 Army musketballs (found on the Norway trip), 1943 Dog tax disc, 2 childrens rings, grain sack seal etc.
Pic8: Jewelry
I have also found several handfulls of more modern coins, and tons of crap and junk! But that´s a part of the hobby, right!?
Thanks for watching and commenting all of my posts! It´s always fun sharing finds!
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! (God Jul och ett Gott Nytt År!)
For those ho can still dig, Happy Hunting! For those that has to wait, Happy Hunting 2012!
Best regards from Sweden!
