I didn't get out as much this year as in the past. I bought a boat and have spent a lot of time this year on the water. I did research some new hunting areas this year using an old 1920 map that I found. I hope to hit more of these sites now that the crops are harvested and deer/bear hunting season is coming to an end. I also made a few good finds this year: A GW button, my first seated coin (1876 dime), 7 large coppers, my first Flying Eagle Cent, a nice dandy button, a sweet CW era Pennsylvania State Seal Cuff button, and a few other cool finds as well. I'm looking forward to hitting some more old sites in 2010 and maybe checking a few more firsts off my wish list. Good luck to everyone and Happy New Year 2010!!

Very nice finds. I think I would of put the ole detector in the boat with me, and stop now and then for a break and detect the beaches.
