I totaled out my 2009 findings today. I know there are a few days left in the year, but I"ll be busy with year-end wrap ups for my investors and working on LOTS of accounting for the CPA to review in January. So I'm calling it a year now. Below are my totals. Highlights are that I broke 100 of the 40% silvers on halves (I Know that is nothing for some of you guys, but here that is a LOT of hard work. LOL) and (barely) broke my goal of 2,000 wheats for the year. That took 327 boxes to produce 2,039 wheats. That's 6.24 wheats per box. I also put away 128,000 (Approx) copper pennies for sale hopefully next year. That's 128K/818K or about 15.65% coppers. Also low compared to many other places but I live where I live, and that is what i get out here. (but it was 71 degrees outside on Christmas too, which makes it a great spot, even if low on numbers for CRH. LOL).
I had 3 "super" days, all because of tellers. One was a bag of pennies that yielded over 97% copper and had a few wheats. Second was a roll of Franklins from a teller, and the third was my silver quarter and dime day with $80 of pure silver. Three great days, from three separate tellers, at three separate banks. Which proves that the harder you work, and the more banks you work with, the "luckier" you get. :-)
Other than that, lots of skunk boxes on halves, and okay days on other things. And my totals are as follows:
2009 CRH Totals: 12/26/2009
2009 2,008 2007 (3 mo)
Indian Head Penny 1 2 2
