Decided to break up my finds for 2009 as Relic, Buttons and Coins, this will be the Relics post.
Overall for Relics in 2009, not a bad year, I like the varied artifacts that I found. There were many more items like a lot of thimbles, harmonica parts, numerous musket balls, etc, but tried to pick out my top 11..

Found a nearly completer decortative trigger guard, at the same site also found a ramrod guide.
The partially broken Partridge whistle was an unexpected find.
While searching one of the oldest sites I have found, I got this nice pewter Dermitasse Spoon (Sugar Spoon?) which is probably mid 1700s.
At the same site I found the spoon these shoe buckles were found.
Early in 2009 I got another nice Bell.
A decent spoon, unusual butter knife and a neat still workable suspender clip.
A group shot of some of the Misc finds.
It was a good year for old buckles for me.
Another piece of decorative 1700s shoe buckle and a decortive small plate.
One highlight find I made earlier in the year that I forgot about was this old homemade silver wedding band that was most likely made from a silver coin ( I hope) and is my second such find, the first one was found deep in a hole with a 1783 Half Real......
Here is a closeup of one of my complete shoe buckles, this one still works.
