Look like plow coins

While there are a variety of scenarios that can cause such damage, the term “plow coin” is an excellent descriptive of the way this kind of damage occurs. It does not necessarily mean that a plow caused the damage. Sometimes we use terms that are more descriptive than literal.

That said, Wonderland, how do you imagine this damage occurred to your coins?

Time for more coffee.

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard Wonderland! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) - members may have more success helping you (your location may help, etc.)...

2nd - I moved ya from HELP! over to COINS for more exposure.

Thanks everyone. I was going through a jar of coins and just thought I'd ask. I'm new to coin collecting so have alot of questions. I'm from Austin, tx btw. I'll try to update it. Thanks everyone for your kindness!
