2000 P South Carolina quarter

The weight is 5.63 grams it doesn't have the reeded edge either 20220722_153956.jpg20220722_153943.jpg

Thank you I'm not sure what I have found I know it's not like the other 2000 p south Carolina quarters I've seen just curious if it's a good error quarter
 

Other than being beat up and worn, what do you see that's special?
 

The color is off and no reeded edge weight is 5.63g
The color is off because it's a "clad" coin and seeing the wear of the faces of the coin means some of the clad has worn off.

The fact that it has a smooth edge accounts for the small weight lost from the edge being worn smooth.

It's diameter should be 24.30 millimeters, I'm sure if you checked it with an accurate set of calipers you'll find it measures less than that.

So all in all what you have is a worn 2000 P South Carolina quarter, it's not an error coin.
