I was dying to detect yesterday but didn't manage to get away from my work. It was almost dark by the time I could get away so I grabbed the e-Trac and went over to an old creek that snakes through our neighborhood. It snakes and it is snakey so I just hit the bank. I didn't even have time to change the 5" coil to the stock coil.

Anyway - I had about 20 minutes of light and decided to swing for the fence and wait for a good signal. I dug one hole right at dark, and it was this nice big silver ring marked 925. Rings of any kind, even junk rings are one of my favorite things to find, and this is a beauty. It is actually two rings. The smaller ring with the waves is free but locked into the larger band and you can rotate it with your fingers.

Not bad for a guy dying to hunt and only getting a few minutes!!!

Thanks for reading! Good luck on your next hunt!

A great part of the World you live in! we worked on Range 28, Fort Campbell a few years back and stayed in a motel in Clarksville during that time, loved the people, loved the place, gutted when the contract came to an end :dontknow:

Lucky you enjoy your hunting.

Sweet spinning silver !
