Hello First post, had somthing interesting happen for the first time today. Was detecting at an old 1875 house and got a good signal at 5". vdi was a little sketchy but the sound was good so i dug. found a nice 1918 wheat at the bottom of the hole and was felling pretty good. now i dont have a pinpointer so i take the dirt with my hands and run it over the coil to see if the coin is in that bunch of dirt and if its not lay it next to the hole and so on. so anyways, i get up and go 2 or 3 feet to my right and get another penny signal i look down and on top of grass is a little chunk of dirt, i pick it up and bag a 1912 wheat. so basically in the process of checking my dirt over the coil the momentum from my arm swing threw this little coin ball 3 feet to my right. sorry so long lucky me!!
