I thought I had a wheat penny, reading a little high... Pulled an 1892 Barber Dime. I filled the hole and stood up, 1 sweep and had the same low reading, 6 inches away... Pulled a well worn Canadian Dime with the date worn off the back... They were made from 1858 to1901....
Nice finds Bass! I love that old Canadian. I can never seem to get any old Canadian silver around here despite being a couple hours from the border. Hopefully someday!
Gotta change your ID to Silver man.. Great finds funny thing is I bought a brand new fishing pole and reel and since I got my detector I haven't gone fishing yet!!!!!!Well done
A2coins, Tommy, funny you say that.... I have bass fished for over 30 years. Since retiring, I have been detecting so much, I haven't fished at all this year. I have a 17ft 40 hp Aluminum Bass Tracker boat, every time I wanted to fish it rained hard here, in NY.. We had about 3 times the normal rain here.. Good Luck my friend. Basssmann Ray
I have dug what I thought would be a penny to find old small silver too. guess some pass them up thinking that they are pennies, their loss. two very cool coins that close together, sweet!
