So I decided to call a buddy up a few hours ago, and asked if I could detect his house in a speed search. Gas rebate 2.47 includes a 1979 Susan dollar. 2 hot wheels, screen door handle. Junk ring, and a nice silver ring weighing in at just under an ounce.

Wait a minute , did I read that right ? did you say that one of those rings weighs just under an ounce ?? I found a ring in Santa Fe a few
years ago that weighed exactly an ounce ! it was humongous - what sort of weight do you have there Great finds !!!!!!

It's huge, 3 times the size of my wedding band. Equal to about 4 silver quarters in weight..
