2 Rings - Gold and Silver

Well I'm pretty excited. Picked up 2 rings at the beach yesterday evening ...and BOTH are keepers

The first one was a foil signal that I pushed aside with my foot and saw it was GOLD. Picking it up was a heartstopper. I slipped it in my pocket immediately and didn't look at it. Boy ... it sure is hard to do any serious detecting with a gold ring with beaucoup diamonds burning a hole in my pocket.

Ten minutes later BANG.. a 91. Definite SILVER! Nice heavy Silver ring. Now I had 2 rings sitting in my pocket. OK, I tell myself ... maybe, just maybe there's a third out there with my name on it.

It was not to be ... this time but I was pretty happy.

The gold ring is unmarked huh.gif and the 21 diamonds look 'glassy' Oh well. The Silver is real and has TRUE written a number of times around the perimeter.

I voted the gold ring into a position (#35) in my ring case due to great "Eye Appeal".

So now the Ring Case is FULL (I've got 3 more)

Yeah, I know what you are talking about. Imagine the feel I had with 9 rings in my pocket once, even though none of them was gold

Dan, Thanks for asking. That's one I took to the jeweler's (last year when my son was buying his engagement ring). I thought it was gold but the jeweler said NO. I said no? He said it was platinum and the 13 diamonds (one large and 12 small) were real.
Yeah it was fun.
