Hello,
It's been awhile since I last posted. Been hitting a river bank that has some history. I found my oldest coin the same day I found these bullets. I found a 1785 Spanish 1/2 Real minted in Mexico City (very excited time finding that thing). I also found these bullets, a 2 ringer and a 1 ringer. The 2 ringer has these tiny little ridges or indentations on both of its rings. They wrap all the way around the rings. I took some close up photos next to the cm ruler. I hope someone can give me a ballpark date on these. Thanks in advance.

Your bullets are definitely modern. Kind of hard to date them, for me anyway.

The "reeding" in the grooves will date them to after 1880, anything more specific than that will be hard to say. unless they are a caliber that was invented after then, or an oddball caliber that had a short life span. To figure that out, we'll need precise measurements in 100ths of an inch.

I love the coin but your bullets are considered modern like NOLA Ken said.

I can't tell much from your picture and measurements, but 9mm is about the same as a .38 caliber bullet. My swag is you have found a .38 bullet. The .38 special was introduced in 1898,
and are still in use today. A .38 caliber bullet mic's out to .357. I know that doesn't sound right, but trust me, that's true, and the 9mm is slightly smaller than that.
