Since I've had the last few days off from work, I've been blowing up my honey hole with my buddy Jason. I swear... I don't think this place will ever stop producing. But I'm still waiting on it to cough up some more yellow for me. It's been forever it seems since my last one from this place. Maybe I just have to clean out all this darn money first :P
So we get to the beach and we're promptly hunting at midnight once again. But I started getting worried... as I didn't find my first coin until 12:48, and that was only a 10 yen. WTF? Up to that point, it was just can slaw, pulltab pieces, and some questionable trash.
The waves made working difficult, and I was thinking that was the reason for all the trash. The wave action brought in all that lightweight trash from further out. So the remedy for that was to work from waist to neck deep if possible. We just avoided anything lower than that. It seemed that the trash wasn't any deeper than that usually.
By 1am I was back in the money... I killed the 100 yen coins once again. Might have to change my Tnet handle again. It won't be hard to find me though... I think I'm the only guy in Okinawa posting on here.
About half way through the hunt, I dredge up a chunker mans ring. Not a huge one, but definitely not small either. About an hour after that, I managed to scoop up another ring too. It's not as big, but hey... it's as good as money in the bank.
So here's how the plundering looked tonight:
4,124 yen -- $52
2 silver rings -- 13.5 grams
junk earring
junk pendant piece
some other junk jewelry
Thanks for coming by my plundering page. Hopefully soon I'll have something to drool over. HH
