The left one is a nice end scraper which I donā€™t find often. Bit pic came out blurry.
Right one feels like it has edge work but could be creek chatter. Either way they will go into the flake tub. Creek was still to high and more rain coming.
Also I pulled 2 ticks off of me before the bite just letting everyone know ticks are out 2 months earlier than normal. I hate them and Iā€™m sure nobody cares for them.

Never bad when you come home with a prize or two. Itā€™s nice to find uncommon pieces too. I had some ticks crawling on me here in ks recently, seems like the window where I can go out without dousing myself in bug spray is closed for this year, bummer.

Yeah I thought I could go another 2 months and this creek isnā€™t that bad usually. Another creek I hunt is full of them but it will be June before I get to go and maybe they will jump on the other animals by then. You know out of all the people in this small section of the forum you have made me feel liked and I really appreciate it. There are some really rude people on this site and Iā€™m guessing thatā€™s why so many have left. Just wanted to say thanks

Youā€™re welcome, itā€™s nice to talk rocks with folks most people I interact with daily have no interest in pointy rocks.

Listen..pay close attention to those basterds. You could get lonestar disease and not be able to eat steaks! The (a government) dumped these diseases on us a few decades ago. No other explanation for the horrible tick diseases that erupted in my lifetime.

What do you plan on doing with the flake tub? Just curious.

Iā€™m not sure I know some put them in their flower beds. I usually pick some out to give to beginners that think they can go find some in creeks like I do. I make it look easy šŸ˜ƒ

Every time we get a new person at work I always ask if they ever found one. The answer most of the times is no. Most people donā€™t really care about my hobby.
We just got another flood Iā€™ve forgotten how many we have since last year Iā€™m guessing 10. Iā€™m hoping the good sand washed back up on my next visit.

I personally leave flakes where they lay. My thought is that it is evidence that folks long ago in a different time sat in a particular spot and practiced their skills. I donā€™t however search creeks.

I also figure some kids might stumble across them and it will spark some imagination. I usually do the same for broken points.

I like to leave a site clean so if someone else should happen to come along they might think there is nothing worth coming back for. That way the only footprints I see are mine. Not many look in my area but the ones I know are die hard hunters like myself
