In addition to boxes, I searched a lot of random batches at a lot of random banks. The Mercs are 1942-P and 1944-D.

Look closely at the 1942 Merc there is a valuable error on the date that has the 2 in 1942 stamped over a 1 from 1941. You can look it up online. If you have it, it is worth a lot.
