Weather in W PA has been frigid for the last few days, time to head to the NC beach for the holidays with the family.

Got out for three 1 hour walks down the beach with the detector. There were some nice deep cuts in the sand and targets were relatively plentiful for this beach between the cut and the pebbles in the wet sand at low tide. Sparkles in the scoop from the headlamp made me smile tonight!

Man I love OBX good luck out there

Congratualtions on the nice hunt! :occasion14:

Beautiful ring recovery. :icon_thumleft:

Nice score on the shiny ring. Single digit temps and wind chills -18 degrees will keep my butt grounded indoors. Glad you found sanctuary for some more hunting. Have a wonderful and safe transition into the new year.:hello:

Depending on where you were a lot of the coast was built WAY up this past season. I found lots of military shells and ammo last time down in KHawk area.
