OK so I thought I was done hunting in IL but Soupie talked me into going south by talks of bbq and mowed crops. Soup had all the luck at first with an 1844 LC and the V nickel. Then I pulled the 1902 IH and in the last couple hours I scored my first large cent with a crusty 1820... we moved to a new field and soon pulled an 1849 large cent! I never thought I would ever find a large cent but two in one day!!! Love this hobby. Still picking the dirt off these but here are the pictures so far. I love the plow scars on these babys. At least 150 years of getting churned around on the farm.
Happy hunting.
Happy hunting.
