Finally got out detecting today, first picture is the best of it I have already go an id on the spoons (silver plated *rogers & son A1, Wm Rogers &son AA) the glass I believe is 30's. The cabinet latch seems 50-60's? Has a patent DATE of 2-7-1871, was there a recorded date when patent Numbers were stamped rather than dates?
Second thing is some kind of gauge, sharpener? I can only see 45,30 deg marks I'm thinking plumbing or machining?
Thanks for looking image.webpimage.webpimage.webpimage.webpimage.webp

The fancy knob item is an Eastlake cabinet latch.

Not a sharpener. It appears to be a jig to cut or refresh a groove in the end of a dowel or rod. Maybe?

I found another one of the big thing! Man that was a lot of searching. It's advertised as a " antique valve stem seat cutter"
I am not a car guy but are 30/45deg a standard cut? Just to verify
