Anfibio Multi - T2 Classic - F75+ - G2+....and MANY more tested and reviewed.
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Eastern Colorado....rock stacked buildings. Appear to be an old farm/homestead.

No idea what either item is. The smaller item has a very thin piece of metal running though the middle....almost like a tab. Reminds me of the thin tabs used on music boxes for vibrations....no clue at all though.

Larger item is very heavy...perhaps lead? Reminds me of a stove door or something? But unsure if they used lead. Has tabs on the ends to hold it in place wherever it went...whatever it is.

Lighter for size reference.

I have a bunch of brass reeds of different markings from an organ, they came from a church site. Looks like yours.

some other instruments have similar reeds. Accordion I believe

there should be a faint marking on it as to which tone it plays?

Small item looks like an accordion or harmonium reed.

Thanks guys...appreciate the input. I do not see any markings on it. But I only cleaned with a warm water rinse and very soft nylon brush. I really don't think much value...so will probably clean it further and see if said marks are present.

Looked again with a loop and sure enough there is a faint C# stamped into it.

I did some more Googling once you guys set me on the right path....and found it is to a pump organ and would be time period to late 1800's early 1900's.

Thank you again guys....fantastic.

I believe the lead sheet is from the inside of a car battery

That is a super ID right there....

just a side note on those plates: In the days prior to WW2 approximately, the old "tar top" batteries were "rebuildable". The tar was melted out, and new lead plates would be installed, sometimes even just one defective plate....during the lean years :)

So it could be from that suggestion, or could be just from a discarded battery.

You guys are good. Thank you Dakota Sioux. That does appear to be it.

I would like to believe it is how you describe it CTwoods...sounds much better than some plain car battery. Maybe the guy who lived here created the prototype in between farming eh? Haha...

Oh well. Car battery it is.

I will say it is more of a square and less of a rectangle.....almost like a marine battery or a motorcycle battery. There is a lake nearby and there are surely some off-road bikers in the area over the years.

For the most part...this site was fairy trash free. Only found 2 beaver tail tabs the whole time there. Hardly a broken beer bottle or aluminum can to be found.

Thanks again guys.
