2 Items I am trying to Identify

The segmented Item came from a property that dates to at least 1810 both halves came from the same hole 5-6 inches deep approx 15ft from the house unsure what the heck it is.

The second Item came from a football park that had a house standing as early as the 30's cant tell if any earlier.
Face on one side and hair on the other no signs that it broke off of anything or attached to anything else maybe bronze or copper.
Penny in photo for comparison of size and scale.

Good call on Medusa Taz.
On the segmented item: it somewhat looks like it was a battery contact (D cell or smaller) from something that sat too long with the batteries in it (Unless that's just green corrosion showing in the first picture)

Just looked at it again under a loop looks like corrosion ....but interesting thought hadnt really considered somthing electrical

Your first item looks like a colonial cufflink? broken of course.HH

The Medusa piece could be a Medusa coin or either a replica of a Medusa coin. Neat finds, Breezie

I Think Broken Knee is right. It does look alot like the colonial cufflink images I can find.
The medusa item while im not convinced its a coin ...I hope it is!
