2 Items found on East Indian Island with grapeshot, revol. buttons etc.

Don't know what either of these are.

The first appears to be made of clay. I have a number of these. They are shaped slightly differently but all are about the same size and have a vey similar hole.

The second, is some type metal. It is thin and light. There were also a number of these. There were two sizes. The one shown is the large size. There were also a numer of smaller ones, roughly half the size of this one.

They were found below a canon implacment looking over the ocean among a number of revolutionary war artifacts.

Any help appreciated.

Hmm, the one on the right has a small resemblance to a heel plate. Can you detect more in that area? It looks promising based on what you are finding there.

Thanks.

I"ve been there a couple of times. Had to leave some stuff. The first time I found some grapeshot but was afraid to take them on the plane. I saw the size of the fine for taking explosives and was afraid that it might be construed as an explosive, so left it in an out-of-the-way place. Two years later, went back, and the stuff I left was still there. Maybe I'll be able to get back here again.

When I get time I'll post some of the other Whasits from there.
