Got out for a hunt this am for a few hrs at an old spot of mine that I've been hitting up for years.
Tough to swing there as the barberries and prickers are everywhere but as fall sets in it's a tad easier to swing not to mention that there are deer paths in there as well.
I didn't expect to get a date off the 1859 as it's pretty crusty. Only noticed when I was taking the pictures that I was looking for the shield to line them up but couldn't find it then noticed there was none so then I know it was 1859!
I'll be heading back there tomorrow!
