Got to scan areas in different parts of the state of N.C. this week. Have felt so lucky to get invited to these sites. First one had a variaty of soil from red clay that really gave both machines a hard time to mild, dark, loose soil. The next sites are in foothills. Rocky and most of the yards were that way. Hard to dig but the soil parts were good soil to MD in. Also 12 Wheats. First hunt was with Mangum who posted his finds Monday. His best find was a 1857 Flying Eagle Cent. Love to see stone walls on corner lots in the old part of town. The coins just roll out of their pockets. If there is a shade tree even better. Hope you enjoy the Video's JR
