This afternoon Larry and I went checking on house sites that we thought we had, after driving all around and finding the locations, we found out that we did not have what we thought...Bummer So we went to one of the spots we had hunted before, My second dig in the bean field was a nice 1853 3 Cent Silver, needless to say I was very happy with the find, it has some dark spots but that is OK. We hunted for about 2 hours and I got a civil war eagle button that the plow had really torn up, 4 flat buttons and some odds and ends brass pieces. Larry got a nice 1875 Indian. All in all a nice 2 hour hunt. Thanks for looking..........Lee

The "trime" is still on my list of things I want to find. Yours looks great. Congrats.

That 3 cent silver is an awesome find, I've had that on my wish list for a while. I've found 2 nickel 3 cent pieces, but never the silver. Congrats

Nice looking three center! Congratulations!

That is a beaut for sure. Nice going... jgas

That's a sweet little find.

I remeber the day I found my first. I said man this is one small coin.

Based on the size of these and half dimes, I'm suprised we don't dig them up every day. The 3 cent silvers are my favorite. And that's a good looking one. Nice find!

Wow, good details ! :o I don't see how anyone can find these, you must dig every little piece of metal. What did it come in as on your machine?

Nice dig/digs,

Keep @ it and HH!!

best I could do today was a chucky cheese quarter token a 1988 quarter and 2 zinc pennies from 1987. I've never even seen a trime before, thank you for sharing.
