Weather was very nice, so I detected the field very close to my hometown about 2 hours. It was dark, and quiet, and I was almost shocked when suddenly heard unexpected sounds in 5 meters from me. It looked like UFO landed or departed. Only minutes later, when these sounds repeated I realized that there were ducks looking for some food at the field.
Therefore, I continued to hunt and found the folloing stuff:

Two silver coins - they are very small, 14mm diameter

Cu-Ni 10pfennig coin

Usual state of most common coins here in Germany. Looks ugly, but will be much better after 5 minutes in olive oil

Another usual find - 1 pfennig 1928

Lots of buttons this day. Most interesting are here

Heavy copper button covered with silver

Tin-based alloy - this button at least 100 years old but this alloy is extremely stable

:o Wow!! :o You found a great spot. I hunted two hours and all I found was a button and a minnie. Good stuff!

Really great finds Sand!

How do you keep up with where you have been when detecting.... in a field..... in the dark!

I tried mding in a field during the day last week and couldn't keep up with where I had been! :D

Very nice!

It is easy - I navigate using stars :D.

Seriously, I follow straight lines back and forth, like farmers with their machines
