I was searching boxes of dimes with CoinSurfer (my 13 year old son) and he was commenting on how all the really good old finds I come across is when he is not searching with me. Not 15 minutes later, I come across a dull/dark rim which turns out to be a 1908p Barber! As if that wasn't good enough, a few rolls later he comes across a really worn rim, but the kind that have that nice milky white color and says, "This one looks old...." He pulls out another 1908, but a D. The rest of the box had 2 other Rosies - 60d and 63d.
I think that made up for any exciting finds he may have missed out on. The only other time that can top the double Barbers was when I picked up $500 in CWR's and found 84 silvers, with 60 being Mercuries.
This was my 4th and 5th Barber this year.
