Got out with Lookindown and we had a pretty good day. I started off with a silver cross and a junk ring but a couple minutes later I got gold. It was small but I'll take it. I met up with Lookindown a little later and he was searching for an earring that someone lost. After a few minutes Lookindown said he thought he had it and after he shook out his scoop I could see that glint of gold through the holes in his scoop and I asked if he had it. He said "no but look what I have" and pulled out a beautiful cross. I'm pretty sure that's the first time either of us found gold while searching for lost gold. About 20 minutes later I did manage to find the lost earring but the couple had already headed off the beach. We started walking toward where they went and Lookindown spotted them and they were elated to say the least. She said wait here and left but returned with an envelope and said thanks again. We got a drink at the car and I opened the envelope and figured maybe $20 if we were lucky and saw 4 $20 bills. I couldn't believe it. We split any money we get for returns at the beach so we each got $40 but he was way ahead in the returns money so I was happy to find something to share back to him. I found another small gold when we returned to the water so it ended up being a great day. My first multiple gold day in a while. I can't wait to get back in the water.....
