Here's a nice pocket spill from many moons ago. Both the 3 cent and 2 cent were in the same hole at about 6-7 inches deep. My new spots seem to be promising. The button was found at my "pounded" cellar hole. "Extra" and "BS" are visible on the back. The dates on both coins seem to be hiding behind a very stubborn crust. Both of these coins (by logical research) are pre 1879. I believe they were dropped during the big anniversary celebration in 1879. 4,000 people showed up. Even though they were beaten up by sandy soil I am very proud of them both.
