Went back to a church I have been hunting off and on. The finds are getting pretty slim. But found some areas that I did not get to yet and managed some firsts.
Got my first Sac dollar

No biggie but I have never found one before and better then digging other clad.
2 pocket knifes with the usual clad and stuff I find there, plus a large button

And the other first

A 1906 Barber Dime, was only 1.5 inches down. My first Barber coin

I found It in a spot that had not been filled like the rest of the area. HH,

The Barber is sweet! I bet you weren't expecting it.

No I was not. But I kept my cool. After a quick happy dance. I was back to hunting. This church has surprised me more then once. It is where I found a 1826 large cent, my oldest find to date. I just wish they could strip all the newer fill off the ground. No telling what is hiding under it. HH,

Nice Barber dime! I bet that made your day. I haven't found a silver dime at less than 7" for as long as I can remember. It has given me incentive though to go back to the same sites I and others have pounded for almost 30 years and try to pop a keeper out of the ground. The challenge keeps me going. Congrats on the barber.

That is just awesome! I've yet to join the Barber Club. Way to go!
