Father in-law and I went to a old park in Sedalia, Mo. Just down the block from his home, he was checking out his whites 6000 DI professional detector I bought for him on E-bay, got a real good deal on it and he's is as happy as you can get with it. He found a handful of clad both days, I found some clad a cheap ring and neclace a (what is it) but no silver, I know theres silver there but we didnt have alot of time so I kinda went quick through the whole park checking it out for some future hunting, at one spot across a small bridge I found this bufalo nickle about 6 inches deep, my first one I posted a pick the other day of it and was asking for some info on cleaning it up, I used warm vinegar and salt, it helped a little but it seemed to make it even more pourous and dry, but I do see what I think is a date of 1923 so thats cool, the ground wasn't to kind to it though. Well it was good to get out and hunt anyway, now there is 6 inches of snow on the ground and its going to stay cold for awhile.
