Got out with Frank yesterday to some new spots.

The 2nd site of the day was the only one that produced any coppers. Nabbed a CT as well as a copper that was all smoothed out & had an initial carved into it. Unfortunately this site was not on any map so no idea who used to live there to ID the carved copper.

We went to one site that had a nice stone lined foundation but the site was totally quite. No signals at all. Had to keep checking my headphones to see if they were turned on. Some stones had quarry marks on them around the site, so I'm guessing the
foundation was dug, lined and then abandoned.

Really nice finds! That Connecticut is very nice, it's a shame that they smoothed out that other copper. It is cool that it has that initial on it though! That in itself makes it more interesting! :icon_thumright:

The back of the button says W. Wallis Extra Rich.

Old Cellar Holes - my favorite place to hunt - congrats on the great finds ! :occasion14:

Nice work finding the Connecticut Copper and the piece with the "B" on it....gives it a personal touch from so very long ago.
